1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging NovaMed’s billing services, healthcare providers (“Clients”) agree to the following Terms of Service.

2. Services Provided

NovaMed specializes in medical billing, insurance claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and related administrative services.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete patient and billing information.
• Ensure proper coding compliance when submitting medical records.
• Maintain any required patient authorizations and consents.
  
  

4. Payment & Fees

• Clients agree to compensate NovaMed based on agreed service contracts (percentage of collections, per-claim basis, or flat fees).
• Late payments may result in suspension of services.
  
  

5. Confidentiality & Data Use

• NovaMed will protect all patient and provider data in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
• Client data will not be sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
  
  

6. Limitation of Liability

• NovaMed will exercise due diligence but is not responsible for errors caused by inaccurate data provided by Clients.
• Liability is limited to the value of services rendered in the last 3 months.
  
  

7. Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice. Client remains responsible for outstanding balances.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable state regulations.
